David Langdown is co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Focus7, a brand-led, business growth agency working across multiple industries. Focus7 specialises in helping businesses to find their purpose and their marketable assets, and in creating comprehensive, integrated brand marketing programs to ignite their business growth. 

David is an industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience in the Office Products sector. Having created and operated a number of Dealer Groups, he now has manufacturing, wholesaling and the reseller clients. David has served on the BOSS Federation Board for 13 years, is a Liveryman of the Stationers Company and Past President of the Society of Old Friends.

He sits on the global board of DSCOOP, one of the world’s largest digital print user groups with over 7,000 members where he continues his mission to show people why it really is better, printed. Jon’s passion for print combined with his approach to leadership and culture has created an engaging and forward-thinking marketing operations business that is considered to be one of the leading influencers in the world of print. He’s a full time CEO, part time Husband and Dad of 3 (According to them 😊) and an occasional adventurer!

Mark Dempsey – The Sustainable Impact at HP and the Power of Sustainability to Grow Business Together

Mark Dempsey is HP Sustainability Manager for the UK and Ireland helping to lead HP’s sustainability programmes and working in partnership with customers to deliver positive sustainable impact. Mark is also our Global WEEE policy lead for HP and has previously worked as European Environmental Policy Advisor for Hewlett Packard and Manager of the Parliamentary Sustainable Waste Group at Westminster. Mark authored a parliamentary research report on Producer Responsibility, led a think tank developing proposals for UK WEEE implementation, and has led HP’s WEEE policy work in Brussels and Westminster.

Mark has also spoken at conferences in China, India, Brazil and Australia on EPR. He has previously worked as Development Officer for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and advised the Australian Government on Product Stewardship. Mark has gained detailed knowledge of the Extended Producer Responsibility, the Circular Economy, resource efficiency, and environmental management for businesses; and has extensive experience of leading policy engagement in Westminster and Brussels. Mark has a degree in Geography and a Masters in Environmental Policy and Management and is a member of the CIWM and a Fellow of IEMA.
